Ed B., a conservative friend here in New Jersey, sent out an e-mail blast earlier today regarding the Congressional vote on the Obamacare legislation, scheduled for November 6. Several grassroots organizations are urging everyone to bombard their legislators with e-mails, faxes, telephone calls and office visits between now and then.

Nancy Pelosi held a “closed” news conference this morning and released a 1,990-page House National Health Care bill.  (Link below)   Americans For Prosperity held a national teleconference in which Rep. Michele Bachman (R-MN) summarized how incredibly dangerous this plan is:

After the “Bail Outs,” the federal government now owns or controls 30% of American private companies and capital.  If health care is nationalized, another 18% of our economy will become nationalized – for a 48% stake in control of … EVERYTHING.

Make no mistake about this:   ALL of these debates are about raw POWER – the Government wresting control of a free society so that it controls/wins ALL future elections.  It’s a replay of 1930’s Germany, and closely follows Hitler’s strategy as he took control of a former democracy.

Rep. Bachman expects HUNDREDS OF PAGES of Amendments to be dropped the morning of the Nov. 6th vote.   But she warns “this is the fake bill.  After the Senate votes on Reid’s plan, the real bill will emerge in secret.”

Americans for Prosperity had already planned a “House Call” – asking all AFP members and supporters to travel to Washington, DC, and to visit the offices of their representatives to personally carry the message, “Hands off my health care!”   BUT NOW … Rep. Bachman said this is the final chance to influence health care.  “Pull the Fire Alarm,” she urged – This is IT!

She and AFP urged every possible person to make their way to Washington, DC next Thursday, by car, bus, train, plane – to tell Congress that the issue hasn’t died down and we’re not going to allow them to take away our liberty and free market system.

COSTS:   AFP said the bill takes $500 million away from Medicare … it hides the costs of not reducing doctor reimbursements (moved out of this bill) … it forces everyone to pay more for insurance, while getting less care … it means everyone under age 30 will lose 8-12% of their income … businesses will pay a new 8% tax (minimum) on payroll … and by the White House’s own calculations “this will cost America about 5.5 million JOBS!”   Consider Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare Part D Prescription Drugs, the Massachusetts experiment, Hawaii’s experiment, Maine’s experiment – all of them cost much more than predicted, and have now resulted in cut back after cut back in care, treatment, testing, doctor reimbursements.

I spoke today with a physician in Massachusetts who said that after their “experiment” was started, even SHE COULD NOT GET A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR – they won’t take on new patients because they get paid so little !

Dick Morris wrote in  TheHill.com  that Reid’s strategy was to introduce a bill without the public option to reduce the opposition, but his strategy was always to re-insert it when the House and Senate met in conference.

The Democrats can ONLY BE STOPPED by a strong show of opposition – so we must now make as much noise in as many ways as we possibly can – focusing always on the COST, in dollars and in lost quality and care.  WE ARE GOING TO WASHINGTON.   JOIN US!

The 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence concluded that document saying, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”

They stepped up to the plate.  It is now our turn.  Find a way to Washington!

I appreciate and deeply admire the determination of these fellow patriots. I count myself among their number and helped lead the march into Washington, D.C. on September 12. Over a million of us made our voices heard very clearly.

As I observed in my speech to the Woodbridge Tea Party, they heard us and are now redoubling their efforts. They saw the writing on the wall on September 12 and are now determined to pass it regardless of what we say. Expect them to pass cap & trade and amnesty bills afterward.

The sad fact is that nothing short of storming Washington by force and hanging them will stop them from passing this legislation. The end game is already playing out.

There can only be one peaceful way to reverse this enormous lurch toward socialist oligarchy: we will have to compel the GOP to pick up the Reagan banner and then proceed to elect to Congress in 2010 veto-proof majorities of Reagan Republicans who will completely dismantle this abominable legislation.

Failing that, I suggest lots of guns and ammo - before they are confiscated.
